Hyundai launches the new STARIA Hybrid, its first 11-seat hybrid van in Thailand, starting at 2.099 million baht

Hyundai Mobility (Thailand) Co., Ltd. launched The new STARIA Hybrid on September 21, 2026, positioning it as Thailand's first and only 11-seat hybrid MPV, targeting the "Sandwich Generation" — people caring for both aging parents and children at once — building on Hyundai's more than 30 years in the Thai MPV market, from the H-1 through the STARIA Diesel.

The cabin features Premium Comfort Seats and new headrests for rows 2-3, power sliding doors on both sides, 4 ISOFIX child-seat anchor points, separate front/rear climate control, and 7 USB-C ports. It connects via Hyundai Bluelink for remote start and vehicle status checks, with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and BOSE 12-speaker sound.

The Turbo Hybrid powertrain delivers up to 242 hp combined, 367 Nm torque, and 17.2 km/liter city fuel efficiency (NEDC), with e-Motion Drive controlling vehicle movement and Hyundai SmartSense offering 15 driver-assistance systems. It comes in 2 trims: Modern at 2,099,000 baht and Premium at 2,399,000 baht, in Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl, and Galaxy Maroon Pearl (Premium only). The launch campaign offers interest rates from 1.69%, 1 year of first-class insurance plus compulsory motor insurance, Hyundai Smart Care for 5 years/50,000km, a 5-year/100,000km vehicle warranty (extendable to 7 years/150,000km), and an 8-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty.
