Which color to pick? iPhone 18 Pro comes in 4 colors — Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy — who each one suits best

Apple launched the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max with 4 color options: Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy. One thing buyers should factor in is cases, since the large camera plateau spanning the full width means the body color still shows even with a case on, so it's worth matching color choice to a preferred case too (per MacRumors' review).

Burgundy is the boldest, most distinctive color, considerably darker than the iPhone 17 Pro's Cosmic Orange, closer to wine or plum than bright red — a shade never seen before on iPhone. Apple offers silicone and TechWoven cases in Burgundy to match; with any other case color, the camera plateau becomes an eye-catching reddish-purple spot. Glacier is a pale pastel blue, different from the 17 Pro's Deep Blue, a middle-ground choice for anyone wanting something soft without being too flashy. Apple doesn't have a case named exactly Glacier, but offers several shades of blue, such as Crisp Blue and Chambray Blue.

Silver is the classic choice that pairs with almost any case. This year both back materials share the same tone, giving a more unified look than the 17 Pro's Silver, and when the anodized layer scuffs, the raw aluminum underneath is close to the surface color, so scuffs blend in better than on other colors. Black returns after the 17 Pro skipped it — sleek, quiet, and professional. A black case helps the camera plateau blend in, but scuffs show more easily on this color.
