Apple Watch SE 3 or Series 12? A 5,400-baht difference — what else could that money buy

The Apple Watch SE 3 starts at 8,900 baht, compared with the Series 12 starting at 14,300 baht — a gap of over 5,400 baht (per a MacRumors comparison cited by Techhaus).

The SE 3 uses the same design as the Series 4, 5, and 6, with a 40 or 44mm aluminum case, the S10 chip (2024), 2GB RAM, a display reaching up to 1,000 nits with Ion-X glass, 18-hour battery life, and 0-80% charging in about 45 minutes. The Series 12 comes with a thinner design, a more rounded display edge, Ceramic Shield 2 (aluminum model) or sapphire (titanium and ceramic), 42 and 46mm cases, the S11 chip (2026), 4GB RAM, and an LTPO3 display reaching up to 2,000 nits.

The deciding difference is health. The Series 12's Health Sensing System reads heart rate every 5 seconds, measures Recovery HRV and a Readiness Score, plus ECG, blood oxygen, and high blood pressure alerts — none of which the SE 3 has. On battery and exercise, the Series 12 tracks a workout for 10 hours (SE 3: 7 hours), with standard battery life of 24 hours and 0-80% charging in 30 minutes. It also adds 5GHz Wi-Fi, second-generation Ultra Wideband, Precision Finding, Siri Recap, always-on Shazam, and diving support up to 6 meters.
